Evaluation of Results of Separate Vertical Wirings for the Treatment of Extra-articular Fractures of the Distal Pole of the Patella

Background: Patella connects quadriceps ligament and tendon. Base peak. proximal non-articular distal patella. Common subcutaneous patella injurie. focuses Quadriceps forces facilitates arm extension. It rotates the knee extensor. At maximum extension, raises moment by 30%. Patellar avulsion fractures are classified independently. 9.3% to 22.4% of patellar thus. AO 34-A1 extra-articular lower pole fractures. Rapid flexion against contraction causes this fracture. After bone removal, tendon is frequently sutured transosseously. Long fixation sluggish recovery cause weakness. Two 25 patients had problems with poor vertical wirings. We examined 2 wiring procedures for fractures.
 Objective: To look at how well separate wirings work treating outside joint end patella.
 Methods: Prospective, observational study. The study was done from July 2015 June 2017 NITOR's Department Orthopedics. Patients post-traumatic admitted NITOR comprised population. From 2017, total 52 NITOR, 46 people were wired vertically surgery. checked up on 40 people. 18 weeks, final functional result looked at. Bostman score measured worked.
 Results: studied determine effectiveness 9 (22.5%) 30 or younger, 10 (25%) 31-40, 8 (20%) 41-50. 7% 6% in their 5th 6th decades. youngest patient oldest 70. Out cases, 31 (or 77.5%) men 22.5%) women. number women 3.5:1. Most broken bones (75%) healed between 6 weeks. average time a radiological union happen 82.4 weeks.
 Conclusion: According study's findings, commonly affect early middle age farmers. Separate cure outside-the-joint can return pre-injury activities, but knees weaker.
